Bené Book Review - I Am Malala

Posted on April 28, 2015 by Sasha Matthews | 0 comments

In 2012, Malala Yousafzai was shot point blank in the head by the Talaban
for speaking out on behalf of women's right to education. After a
miraculous recovery, she has become an international symbol of hope for
the future and she continues to speak up for education. I wanted to read
her book because she is a strong female figure and I was inspired by her.
We need all the strong female role models we can get, no matter age,
ethnicity, or religion.
